Core Monitoring
Core Monitoring service is an easy to integrate bolt-on control for health and performance monitoring of IT infrastructure and servers. Monitoring and alerting functions are powered by stacks of automated modules assembled to provide a best-practice level of monitoring for critical IT systems.
The basic monitoring stack uses two modules that provide automated discovery, health and performance monitoring. Core monitoring supports the most common versions of Windows Desktop, Windows Server and Linux-based systems and is customisable for monitoring purpose-built infrastructure components.
Agent and Agent-less Monitoring
Core monitoring modules support standard agent-less checks as well as advanced monitoring functions using a secure core monitoring agent. With the agent deployed a typical profile includes monitoring, trending and alerting of:
- System Availability & Uptime
- CPU Load
- CPU Utilization
- Disk Utilization
- Memory Utilization
- Users and Processes
- TCP Connection Times
- Interface Bandwidth
- System Time Offset
